Substantiates, posts, and maintains accounting transactions within CardioQuip’s accounting system with the goal of meeting all legal, reporting, and security requirements.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing strict adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Assists in managing chart of accounts and bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing and verifying documentation.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing accounting information.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting information and trends.
Assisting management in the decision-making process.
Maintains financial security by following and helping to develop internal controls.
Bachelor’s or Associates degree
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
Understanding of accounting and financial processes
Attention to detail
2-10 years of experience in a relevant field
